Day 1. - Cusco – Cancha cancha. Our lares trek to machu picchu - lares machu picchu starts with transfer from your hotel at around 7am and drive for approximately 2 hours to Huaran (2840m/9317ft), a small village in the Sacred Valley which is lares valley trek to machu picchu beginning point. We will meet our horseman and mules here and start our beautiful hike through the lush valley, following a gentle uphill route of Cancha Cancha River. It will take about 5 hours to reach the picturesque village of the same name where we will set up camp. (3800m/12467ft)

Day 2: Cancha cancha – Kishuarani.. After having breakfast, we will leave the campsite and begin a steep ascent to Pachacutec Pass (4458m/14625ft) the highest point of the lares trek to machu picchu / lares machu picchu. From here there are spectacular views of the snow-peaked mountain, Pitusiray, Pachacutec Lake and the surrounding valleys. After the pass, we continue walking and descend into the next valley to reach kishuarani village (3700m/12138ft) where will spend the night. Along the route, the scenery is breathtaking – there are glacial lakes, waterfalls and snow-peaked mountains. The lares to machu picchu is rich in birdlife and there is a possibility of seeing Andean ibis, Andean geese and flamingoes amongst others.

DAY 4:  Lares - Waca Wasi / Millpo Lake. - We leave in the early morning through Waca Wasi village, place where we observe people in their typical dress and continue with our brief ascent to the Huahuaqasa pass at 4398 meters before descending to Aroraycocha and Millpo lakes which are formed by the melt waters of the Pumahuanca and Capacsaya snow peaks.  This part of the lares trek to machu picchu / lares machu picchu is a spectacular, through the Urubamba Mountain Range, you will have ample opportunity to spot a number of Andean birds, including condors. DAY 5: MILLPO LAKE / YANAHUARA / CUSCO.- We descend towards the farmers community of Yanahuara and its, agreeable  climate at altitude of 3027 meters, the tiny hamlet of Yanahuara is located in the Urubamba Valley, for the Incas, the fertile Sacred Valley, it is the breadbasket  of Cusco, with its terraced slopes sown with corn and watered by the glaciers of the  great snow  peaks and the river, which they worshipped as the “Willkamayu” or “Holy River”

We lunch and after from this site we take a local transport by 10 minutes thorough ollantay tambo from where we take train to Aguas Calientes (machu picchu town). And spend the night in a nice and clean accommodation. lares trek machu picchu - lares machu picchu.

Day 06: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco.- After an early rise and breakfast a tour bus will take us to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu (2400m). lares machu picchu trek finally makes sense. once registered in the check point we’ll tour in this wonder, our professional guide will spend more than 2 hrs showing you machu picchu. after this time you’ll have plenty of time to walk around the site by yourself and for the bravest there is always the ascension to Huayna Picchu or the nearby machu picchu mount. maybe lares machu picchu trek is enough, So just relax. In the afternoon after a fantastic lares to machu picchu there is bus down to Aguas Calientes,  where we’ll take our train back to Cusco and ends our lares trek to machu picchu.
