01 day river rafting itinerary:
At 9:00 AM we leave for the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (north of Cusco), where our guide will give us an introductory chat on safety and equipment for our trip running the Urubamba. We will raft for around 2 ½ hours in Class II,III.IV+ and V rapids, depending on which route we select.
There is a nice river called Huambutio, where class II and be done, (Ollantaytambo for class III, but this according rain period) from may to december; And quiquijana for class IV from (december to may), , for the last one, which is the hardest, we always take a safety kayak. So, it means one extra guide for the safety of our clients. After lunch we retun to Cusco, arriving at around 5:00 afternoon: The rainy season is a really good time to go rafting because the river gets faster and the waves and other hydraulics are larger. The rainy season lasts from December to April.

White Water River Rafting - rafting in apurimac canyon
3dyas 2 Nights
This exciting whitewater rafting expedition is rated among the 10 best Rafting trips of world . We start the trip from Cusco 3,400 m.a.s.l. driving for 4 hours across the Andes down to the apurimac river canyon ( in the native quechua language meaning “ Speaker of the Gods “ ). This river is also the most direct source of the Amazon making it the longest river in the world .We put-in at 2,000 m.a.s.l. It will take us about two hours to prepare all the equipment using only state of the art self bailing rafts and cataracfts. We'll have lunch and raft down to our first camp. All the meals are prepared by our staff on a campfire under the night sky of the Southern Hemisphere. At one point we arrive to a narrow canyon with an impossible rapid where we have to do a portage for about 300m.a.s.l. This means that we will have to carry everything across. Most of the time we will be rafting class III+ and IV rapids , but we also have a few class IV + and V rapids. Among the wildlife , in this remote and isolated canyon we could find river otters, bob cats, foxes, torrent ducks, cormorants etc.
trip Itinerary:
Day 01: We meet at 9.00 am at the plaza de armas , and we drive a hours through the andes to the put-in at Huallpachaca bridge 2.000 masl. It will take us a couple hours to prepare all the equipment, self-bailing rafts, oars, paddles, coolers, helmet, lifejackets, wet suit, etc. You will be given a safety talk and drills into rafting techniques. We will put emphasis in the training all the participants, in how to get back into the raft, flipping the raft, swimming a rapid etc. You will be floating for 2 or 3 hours, doing class II and III rapids. Camp in a narrow gorge with impressive walls, here the guides will prepare dinner. L+D.
Day 02: After a healthy breakfast we start rating around 9.00 am, this day we will be in the water for about 6 hours, doing mostly class III and IV rapids, stopping for lunch and arriving to camp around 4:00 pm, there is tea time at the camp, which is a nice sandy beach under southern hemisphere ski. (B+L+D).
Day 03: After a good breakfast we are going to be rafting through a couple class V rapids with names "tooth ache", and "you first", "last laugh", after 3 hours of rafting we will arrive to take out where we pack all equipment and dry back cusco, arriving around 6.00pm (B+L).
