About Inka Challenge Peru “Native Peruvian Tour Guides Company” is a professional, certified tour operator company that was established solidly in 2012 located in the historical capital of the inca culture Cusco Peru. By a group of experienced Professional Native Peruvian tour guides. The manager and all our members are fluent in “English”, Spanish and as a fundamental requirement is that the stuff has to speak the local language (Runasimi or quechua), some of our guide are fluent in German, Italian and French. OUR TEAM:

Our team is made up of professional and enthusiastic Andean people who take pride in their rich cultural heritage with exceptional working experience.
All of our guides are officially licensed and have Tourism Degrees and are fluent in English, Spanish, the local Language “Quechua = Runasimi” and some of our guides are fluent in Italian, French and German. Who also receive annual training in first aid and rescue, so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands on your travels. We also have a good team of drivers, porters, cooks and muleteers whose immense contribution and hard work never go unnoticed. Our cooks prepare nutritious meals with a vegetarian option available. Our porters and/or muleteers, who carry all our equipment, always depart before the group to ensure that we get a good location in the campsite and they have everything ready and set up by the time you reach the lunch site or campsite. With your help we pay our staff professional wages and all employees receive health insurance as part of their employment benefits.

Bryan Wilbert is the manager and guide of Inka Challenge Peru. Bryan has guided expeditions in Cusco and Peru for more than 15 years. He was born in a native community 20 miles away from Cusco City. His first language is Quechua, leaned Spanish at primary school, English in the university language school, and Italian at the Italian language school of Cusco. Moved to Cusco looking for better opportunities, previously forming his own company has worked for several travel and tour operator companies, firstly as a porter on the Inca Trail, sales and booking manager, as professional tour guide and still guiding. He knows what is the best way to provide the best service, “he knows what works and what doesn’t’”, He is expert providing personalized service, knows many unknown trails, less frequented paths, passionate on what he do, and doing his best to make sure are clients are coming back happy from their tours, You’ll have a history to tell.

Trekking Guide PeruNavidad Condori “Chris” (Tour Guide in Cusco Trekkings): Chris Condori is one of the principal guides of the company, has been guiding expeditions in Cusco and Peru for about 20 years. He was born and grew up in a small village in Canchis province which is at 04 hour by bus from Cusco city. His first language is the inca language, leaned Spanish at primary school, He got his tour guide degree from the Cusco National University, English in the university language school. Moved to Cusco looking for better opportunities, firstly he worked as guide assistant and after that as a principal guide where he has been renowned as a very important guide. He is expert providing personalized service and knows many less frequented paths, passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy from their tours, on the mountains he plays his Andean flute, he loves the Inca culture and history.

His first language is the local ancient language, leaned Spanish at primary school, He got his tour guide degree from a private High school in Cusco City. He learned English from Maximo nivel language school. Moved to Cusco looking for better opportunities, firstly has worked as inca trail porter, then guide assistant and after as principal tour guide. He is expert providing personalized service and knows many less frequented paths, passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy (he is our funniest guide), very concurrent and professional on his job.

Firstly he worked as guide an assistant guide, as a principal guide where he has been renowned as a very important guide and also worked at the university as guiding Teacher. He is expert providing personalized service and knows many less frequented paths, passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy from their tours, he loves the Inca culture and sharing it with the visitors.

Is one of the principal guides of the company, has been guiding expeditions in Cusco and Peru for about 25 years known as “Altiva Canas, Father”. He was born and grew up in a small Village in Canas Province of Cusco. His first language is inca language, leaned Spanish at school, He got his tour guide degree from the Cusco National University, learned English in the university language school. Firstly he worked as assistant guide. He is not any further doing treks, He is now working as City guide in Machu Picchu, He is expert providing personalized service and he knows many facts of Machu Picchu. He is passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy from their tours, he loves the Inca culture and sharing it with the visitors, while guiding you he can teach you some of our Quechua Language.

He was born in a small village by the colca canyon. His first language is Quechua, leaned Spanish at primary school, He got his tour guide degree from a private High school as a tour guide. He learned English in a private language school, has also traveled out of peru where he improved his English. Firstly has worked trekking cook and finally as mount Climbing expert tour guide. He is expert providing personalized service and knows many less frequented paths, he has climbed all the volcanos in Arequipa and did all the treks in Colca Canyon, passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy. He is our operation manager and guide for our tours in Arequipa Region.

Peruvian Mountains ClimberRodolfo Reyes (Tour Guide in Huaraz): Rodo is our principal guide In Huaraz “Ancash Region”, has been guiding expeditions in Huaraz for about 10 years. He was born in a small of Ancash Region, which is a region in North of Peru. His first language is the ancien local language quechua, leaned Spanish at primary school, He got his tour guide degree from a private High school as mountain and climbing especialist. He learned English at the casa del guiia “home of guides”. Firstly has worked as muleteer, then as trekking cook and finally as Climbing expert tour guide. He is expert providing personalized service and knows many less frequented paths, has climbed all the mount in Huaraz and also some in Ecuador, passionate on what he do, and he is doing his best to make sure that clients are coming back happy. He our operation manager and guide for mount climbing at the north of peru.

Peru Travel OperatorMarisol Porroa (Booking and Sales Manager): Marisol is our booking and sales manager. She was born in one of the neighborhoods of Cusco. His first language is Spanish but also parallel learned Quechua from the mother whose native language is the local language, and learned English in a private English language school in the city. has worked in a hotels as receptionist, then moved to work with us. She is expert in providing clear information and make sure you have all the information before your arrival. She is doing her best to make sure that clients have got all the previous information, she is very funny and loves talking when you arrive to the office.

 

Cusco ShamanMaestro Santiago (Shaman): Santiago is our spiritual leader and brother “SHAMAN”, known as (Maestro Nina / Master of Fire”, He was born and grew up in Keros, it is a small village in paucartambo province 05 hour by bus from Cusco city. His first language is Inca Language, leaned some Spanish, when child he use to shepherd, llamas and alpacas, farmed native potatoes, and some native product in his village, While parallel learned the spiritual knowledge form his ancestors. Now he is in charge of our shaman rituals, and does the blessing before our trip in our exclusive private trekking tours, He is expert in coca leaf reading ceremony, mother earth ceremonies and san pedro or wachuma drinks.

Peru Trekking CookAndres Puma (Chief of Cooks): Andres is our Professional trekking chef, He was born and grew up in a small village in Lares Valley region, which at 03 hours from Cusco city. His first language is same local language, leaned Spanish at primary school, firstly he has been working farming native potatoes, lupinus, quinoa, and some native product in his village, then worked as inca trail porter. He moved to Urubamba town which is at 1 hour from cusco, every time we have trekking tours he help us organizing the rest of our trekking chefs. Now he is in charge of our Andean kitchen, He provide you with the best meals you have ever tried in Peru, he is very fast and expert in providing clean food, vegetarian option and knowledgeable in nutrition facts, He is very happy working with us.

cusco trekking muleteerFrancisco Alvarez (Chief of muleteers): Francisco is our Muleteers chief, He was born and grew up in a small village in Limatambo Valley, which at 02 hours from Cusco city. His first language is oviously Runa Simi, leaned Spanish at primary school (he only has finished primary school), firstly he has been working farming native potatoes, lupines, quinoa, corn and some native product in his village, then worked as donkey rider “Muleteer”. Every time we have trekking tours he help us organizing the rest of our muleteers. He provide you with the best muleteers, very hardworking men, who really loves working with tourists. You will find him running very fast and always happy, knowledgably, knows many non-frequented paths and new routes, he looks much junger than he really is.

inca trail porterVictor Quispe (Logistic & Equipment): Victor is our Logistic and equipment chief, known as “Viky Viky”, He was born and grew up in a small village in Anta Province which is at 01 hour by bus from Cusco city. His first language is Quechua, leaned Spanish at primary school. He moved to Cusco looking for better opportunities, firstly he has been working farmer native potatoes, corn, quinua, and some native product in his village, then worked as porter in the traditional inca trail. Now he is in charge that all equipment such as tents, chairs, tables and table utensils are in perfect conditions, and also coordinating all great meals that you have on our trekking tours.

Hugo Meza (Professional Driver): Hugo is our Professional Driver, He was born and grew up in a small village in Paucartambo Province which is at 5 hour by bus from Cusco city. He is also Quechuan, leaned Spanish at primary school, firstly he has been working farming native potatoes, corn, quinua, and some native product in his village, then worked as driver for several private entities. He moved to Cusco looking for better opportunities. Now he is in charge of our transport, He will pick you up at your arrival from the airport to your hotel, and also drive you in most of the tours you do with us. He is kind of shy, very gentle and passionate of his job.

For an easy meeting, We are located in the historical center of Cusco city: Calle Arequipa 251 – 7. (Historical Cneter of Cusco), at only 10 Meter from Santa Clara Church.
