Responsibilities:
Inka challenge Peru, is responsible to provide all confirmed tours according to the terms and agreements.
If the Company, breaches the contract will have to assume the responsibility of the case.
The company is not Responsible of an out of time bookings, bookings with missing personal information which is needed for a valid booking, or any other details necessary for the Inca Trail or any other Tours we offer.
Booking Conditions:
All booking has to be made with advanced time, according to the type of program. So, consider the following:
Inca trail to Machu Picchu: “4 days and 2 days” Must be confirmed by sending the money transfer control number, followed by the required details before availability is gone. We will confirm your booking once we get your permit from the (INC – Cusco) National Institute of Culture of Cusco.
Total amount of spaces for the Inca trail are 500 per day divided between four and two days trail, From these 500, 200 are per visitors or tourists, 200 for porters and 100 for guides and cooks.
The vacancies can be booked even during January. For the low season we advise to book a month in advance “months November to March”, for the high season 6 months (May to September) if there are still some availability we can book even 3 days on advance. Check the “Inca Trail Availability” you can see it by clicking on the desired month.
If you are student, send a valid student card scan, it must be send through e-mail, the ISIC student card is the only valid, Other cards such as Youth travel card and teachers card are not accepted.

Notice that only the complete details will allow us to get your inca trail permit and save an spot for you, make sure that if you renew your passport after reserving the inca trail, send as well the new passport number information (bring both passport for the inca trail tour) , the control on inca trail is very strict.
Alternative treks, Tour Packages and other tours:
Machu Picchu Alternative Treks: These are trails which takes you to Machu Picchu by another new and not traditional routes, these treks and tours must be reserved on advanced days in order to organize all needed items, we also need each participant’s information.
Discounts: We have special discounts for students with valid card; the amount discount depends of tour type. For groups, for recommended guests by our past clients and travel agents.
Booking confirmation: The only way to confirm a booking is with money deposit. Which is going to be send you by email. If you have made a money deposit please ask an e-mail that confirm your booking with us. (Send an email where it clearly says for chich tour your sending the money deposit, indicate the tour departure date as well). Send as well the hotel name and your arrival date to our city.
Cancellations and Postpositions:
Cancellations and Postpositions have the following penalties.
Inca Trails Cancellation: (4 days inca trail, 2 days inca trail, salkantay inca trail). If you cancel the tour you lose your deposit at 100% because with this money as soon as we confirm we buy the train tickets and the fee for the trail (this money is not refundable).
Inca Trail post-positions: If you postpone a tour departure you need to send again a money deposit.
Other tours Cancellation: If you cancel a tour 03 months in advance we will refund you 80% from the total deposited money. If you cancel 02 month in advance we refund 65% from the total deposited money. If you cancel one month in advance we refund you 50% from the total deposited money that will be deposited to your bank account. The remaining 50% we sue to cover our expenses and some tickets that are not possible to cancel or sell to future guests.
Postposition of Other Tours: If you postpone a tour departure, a month in advance there is no penalty. But it you postpone after this period you loss the 50% from the amount deposited, If the tour does not involve entrance fee, Hotel, trail or flight there is no penalty at all if you postpone your tour a week on advance. If you postpone the tour 48 hour there 20% percent penalty from total deposited money. If you after this period there is 50% of penalty from the deposited money.
