Cajamarca Tours: Cajamarca is the historical city, where spanish started the invasión to the inca culture, the place is located in a beautiful and fertile Andean countryside in the valley of Cajamarca. The history of this city begins in the pre-Inca culture named Cajamarca, then conquested by the Inca culture which built a major city, now a days the modern still keeps some inca streets, has colonial architecture chich makes it a lovely place to visit. Is the place where Atahualpa and Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro had an appointment, and spanish used and scuse to capture him on 16 November m1532, it represents the beginning of the colonization. Spanish and incas left in Cajamarca lofty luxurious mansions of fine lines. The country side is quiet picturesque, where farmers are still working in the same way as many years ago. The wheather is fresh where the most important celebration is the Carnival fest, where musicians and dancers from different neighborhoods show their expertise in a carnival that makes it with to go. Day 01: Arrival to Cajamarca – City Tour: At your arrival to Cajamarca city (airport or bus terminal) our personel will meet you and drive you to your hotel. Then after some time to check in, the guide wil take you in a wonderful city tour to visit: the main square of the city, san francisco church, the acthedral, the Ransom Chamber, which Atahualpa filled with gold and silver triying to recover his freedom, then he can drive you out of the city to the colina de Santa Apolonia that is a lookout of the city, then to take a soak in the relaxing sulfurous thermal springs known as “The Inca Baths”, then return to the hotel. End of tour.

Day 02: Cumbemayo – Ventanas de Otuzco sightseeing. An interesting day to know more about the Cajamarca region, at around 09:00 our guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to visit the vantage point of Bella vista, Layzón, Forest Park, reaching Cumbemayo, where we find the famous Stone Forest, The Sanctuary, caves or shelters, the Stone of Sacrifice, ceremonial altars, petroglyphs (stone writing), Hydraulic Canal 3.000 years old and the aqueduct. Lunch. Enjoy the beauty of the Valley of Cajamarca and Chonta river, crossing the suspension bridge, here you can ride a horse, then visit the necropolis of the Ventanillas de Otuzco (pre-Colombian cemetery of Cajamarca culture), then go to the Giants Hydrangeas Garden, then tour the Hacienda “Three Mills” and the Fundo “The Alpes” where you can enjoy dairy products and see the cheese factory. After an interesting tour we return to Cajamarca.

Day 03: Porcon farm – Ascienda la Collpa. In the morning after your breakfast our guide will meet you at you hotel and drive you to the porcon farm, Visit the Carving Stone Center in Huambocancha, then the Porcon Farm (Cooperative Atahualpa Jerusalem), where we enjoy the Forest of Pines (artificial Peru’s largest pine forest), craft workshops for men and women, and the Zoo where you will find various animal species such as jaguars, pumas, spectacled bears, monkeys, and more, visit the Hydroelectric Power Plant, then transfer to the airport or bus terminal, where our cajamarca, otuzco cumbemayo tours ends.
